Round Up of Performances 18-21 April

HD Ackerman managed to score 18 and 112 whilst Claude Henderson scored 47 and 10. He picked up 1-64 in 21 overs and 1-50 in 9 overs. Leicestershire lost to Nottinghamshire by 9 wickets.

Dale Benkenstein managed a paltry 10 in his first innings, however he came back strongly and managed to top score for Durham on 103* against Worcestershire and enable them to win by 241 runs

Warwickshire played Lancashire, where Dale Steyn managed to get 9 runs and then came in as a pinch hitter in the second innings and got 17* off 11 Whilst Tim Groenewald 16 and 30. When the pair came out to bowl, Steyn got 4-70 in 25, Groenewald managed 1-37 in 11 in the first innings and in the second, neither picked up a wicket and the match was drawn

Kent faced up against Sussex, which was not a fruitful experience for Martin van Jaarsveld who was back in the hut after his second ball and managed 26 in the second innings. Ryan Mclaren was slightly more successful with 44 and 29, but his bowling was poor collecting 1-95 in 28 which included 4wides and 3no balls Kent lost by 8 wickets.

Jacques Rudolph sent a message to the South African selectors with 122 and 28 and was given a chance to bowl, going for 25 in 5 overs.
