SA are 2-1 up in this spectacular series, with the 4th ODI soon to get underway on Australia day.
Every South African would love to see SA clinch the series on Australia day even though it would be par for the course if it was 2-2 going into the final ODI. The injuries for both teams are hurting, SA have lost Greame Smith, Mark Boucher has been ordered to sit out with a broken toe and Jaques Kallis has a side strain and will possibly sit out.
Australia have their injuries as well with Bracken being the latest man to sit out. It should be interesting to see what the make-up of the sides are.
AB de Viliers will take the gloves and needs to perform with the bat to ensure SA can clinch the series – that is if the rest of the side performs like they have done. Sa will be short on the batting if Kallis sits out
Cricinfo reckons the sides will be:
South Africa(probable) 1 Herschelle Gibbs, 2 Hashim Amla, 3 Jacques Kallis, 4 AB de Villiers (wk), 5 JP Duminy, 6 Neil McKenzie, 7 Albie Morkel, 8 Morne Morkel, 9 Johan Botha (capt), 10 Dale Steyn, 11 Makhaya Ntini, 12 Vaughn van Jaarsveld.
