South Africa beat Australia by 4 wickets with many balls to spare after Albie Morkel smashed 40 runs after 22 balls to get the Proteas home safely.
Australia managed to drop 2 regulation catches in the first over, Ponting dropped a sitter in slips with Hussey ensuring his captain wasnt the only villain putting down a sitter at point.
Again, McKenzie slowed the tempo down and made a relatively simple run chase get out of hand, however he managed to run himself out before the run chase was too high to get like the previous match. On a more positive note, he seems to be finding his form and hopefully will be back to his best on Australia day when SA can claim the series. My colleagues in Australia tell me that the press has taken the Australian team to shreds recently, with the headline “Australian Cricket is Dead”
It was great to see Warner come good again and he is a real prospect for Australian cricket. His home crowd got to see him for the first time last night and he didnt disappoint.
