Hayden called Harbhajan Singh an obnoxious weed recently – after the comments made below it is not surprising to see why!! Harbhajan honestly believes after India got carroted around the park on the first day that on the second day there will be 6 wickets for the picking even with South Africa’s impressive lineup.
“I want to invite the fans to come and watch us bat. It will be in the first session of the day,” Harbhajan said.
“If we take two early wickets we’ll dismiss them quickly. It will take only two good balls.
“If we bowl them out for under 375 we’ll have a good chance of winning the Test. The wicket will be good for batting until the third day and South Africa will struggle against our spinners in their second innings.
“We made a mistake by allowing them to dominate in the first session (on Wednesday). We conceded too many boundaries and had to fight back to take four wickets in the next two sessions.” (see more here)
Quite correct Mr Singh it will be a tough battle out there tomorrow and even tougher when SA bowl
Edited to add thsagt SA scored 100 runs in 23 overs for the loss of just one wicket. At 404/5 South Africa have almost ensured that this test will only have two possible outcomes – a draw or a win for SA. Now that SA have the ability to pick up 20 wickets the latter is looking more likely
